Outbound from Japan
JEC has extensive experience in international repatriation across Asia, North America, and Europe.
From domestic transfer within Japan to internationally compliant embalming, our specialists oversee each step with precision.
We handle documentation, transportation arrangements, and coordination with overseas authorities and funeral homes.
Inbound to Japan
We coordinate with local authorities and funeral homes overseas, providing comprehensive support through to repatriation to Japan. To ensure a smooth arrival, we liaise closely with airport officials and relevant authorities in advance. Following their return, we continue to assist families with funeral arrangements and necessary preparations, tailored to their individual circumstances.
Embalming Procedures
Our experienced specialists provide embalming care that meets the standards required for international repatriation. Since 1995, JEC has maintained the highest standards of preparation and quality, ensuring that even after long-distance transportation, families are able to spend a peaceful and dignified moment of farewell with their loved one.
Caskets
We have a wide range of caskets suitable for international repatriation. Our repatriation specialists carefully select the best casket and prepare with great care. All preparations are carried out in accordance with the standards of IATA, ensuring safe and reliable international transportation.
Local Cremation
If the family decides not to repatriate their loved one to their home country, we can assist with arranging cremation locally. We can also support the family in bringing their loved one’s ashes back home.
Embassy and Airline Coordination
All required procedures for international repatriation are managed by our specialists through a seamless one-stop service, helping to ease the stress and burden on the bereaved family. We work closely with airlines, authorities, and related organizations to obtain the necessary permits and arrange the most efficient transportation route by air or land.

What do I need to do?
We offer comprehensive services to support you during this difficult time.
Th first thing to do is gather the details we will need and provide us with them.
JEC will take care of all further aspects of the repatriation until the deceased has reached their final destination.
We have the closest facilities from Haneda Int’l Airport and Narita Int’l Airport in Tokyo as well as Fukuoka Int’l Airport in Fukuoka.

Do you need additional Services?
We have 90 funeral branches all over Japan to arrange a memorial service prior to bring your loved one home.
Local Cremation and repatriation of cremated remains
Local cremation can also be arranged. All necessary procedures will be handled on your behalf, and we will arrange for the ashes to be returned to the home country.
